On average, our townhomes offer a smaller footprint than villas, measuring 1,333.16 ft². In contrast, our villas offer a much wider range of sizes, from 1,071 ft² to 2,790 ft². Villas can also be customized to be bigger if needed, with additional rooms.

As a result, townhomes are often better suited for single travellers and couples, whereas villas are often more comfortable for couples, young families, and those hosting gatherings.

One often overlooked factor when deciding between these two housing options is how you’d like to own it. At Casa Linda, we’re proud to offer a variety of homeownership options for our villas and townhomes in the Dominican Republic. All our villas require a standard buying process, including an initial down payment and several other payments at each stage of the construction process.

Our townhomes can be purchased either through a standard buying process or through our co-ownership program. Co-ownership allows expats to become partial owners of five townhouse units and use them throughout the year. You can remain in the program for as long as you’d like, making it perfect for expats who are still working abroad, or simply not ready for a full-time commitment. Then, when you’re ready to transition to full-time ownership, we’ll buy back your shares at full price plus an additional 6% interest per year.
